Wet Weather: Round Two

This morning’s round of precipitation is expected to continue in the Mother Lode through tonight.

Total rain accumulation will range from half-an-inch to one inch in the Central Valley. Up to four inches of rain is likely in the Sierra Nevada.

Some of the impacts include travel delays due to slick roads. Local road flooding is possible in poor or clogged drainage areas.

According to the National Weather Service, snow levels are over 8500 feet, but will lower below year-round pass levels by this evening. Pass levels will likely see only limited amounts of snow.

Another wet system (Round 3) returns Tuesday with the potential for significant mountain snow.
