Sonora Woman Arrested For Unlawful Intercourse

Sonora, CA — A 38-year-old Sonora woman was arrested on felony charges of unlawful intercourse with a minor.

Taken into custody on Monday was Kimberly Ramirez. The Sonora Police Department reports the victim is a 16-year-old male and officials were notified about the situation by his mother. She had spotted concerning information on social media sites, regarding her son and Ramirez, so she contacted authorities. Over the course of the investigation the Police Department discovered that Ramirez allegedly had an ongoing relationship with the minor for several months. The Police Department reports that the investigation is ongoing.
