Deadline To Request Vote-By-Mail Ballot

Sonora, CA — We are now one week away from the General Election, and today marks another important deadline for voters.

Anyone wishing to request a vote-by-mail ballot must do so by today. You can learn more by clicking here. All ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, or dropped off at the main election’s office or polling sites. Anyone can also take part in early voting, at the elections office, up through next Tuesday.

In Tuolumne County, Clerk and Auditor Controller Debi Bautista points out that the main election’s office at 2 S. Green Street in Sonora will be open for special hours this Saturday from 9am through 1pm for anyone wishing to vote early.  Bautista adds that there are now around 31,000 voters registered in Tuolumne County. The number is up by almost 1,500 since the June primary election.
