Nearly 800 Without Power In Columbia

Columbia, CA — The Columbia outage began just after 5:30 p.m. and residents in downtown Sonora even experienced a flickering of lights.

PG&E reports that 799 customers in the areas of Highway 49, Parrotts Ferry, Springfield and Sawmil Flat roads, including Columbia College are without electricity. A crew has been assigned to the outage and a cause has yet to be determined, according to the company. The estimated time of repair is 9 p.m.
