Bulkin Will Speak About State Of Education

Sonora, CA — With school now very much back in session, Tuolumne County’s top elected education official will talk about several pertinent issues.

Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools Margie Bulkin will be the guest on Mother Lode Views this weekend. She says a pleasant surprise this year is that early school enrollment figures are up, and Bulkin will explain how the numbers compare to past years. She will also respond to the recent Grand Jury report that recommends district’s look at more ways to share services. In addition, she will talk about recent changes to curriculum in California and share the results of a Healthy Kids Survey that looks at the well-being and risk factors of local students, and how that information can be beneficial.
