Several Transportation Projects In Tuolumne County

Sonora, CA — Hear an overview of many short-term and long-term transportation projects in Tuolumne County.

This weekend’s Mother Lode Views will feature Tuolumne County Transportation Council Executive Director Darin Grossi. A main focus will be the Regional Transportation Plan Update that is going through the review process.  It is a $737-million blueprint for the next 20 years.

He will detail several improvement projects planned including along Priest Grade, the Yosemite Junction, Highway 108 near Twain Harte, Highway 49 at Parrotts Ferry Road, Mono Way, and others. He will also talk about Vision Sonora projects and proposed new “park and ride” areas.

In addition, he will talk about changes that could be coming to transit service due to a decline in ridership.
