Twain Harte, CA — The CHP has released the name of a man killed in a wreck on Highway 108 on Saturday morning.

As earlier reported here, the two-vehicle wreck on Highway 108 happened just before 10 a.m. at the lower entrance to Twain Harte.  The CHP reports 73-year-old Ralph Robinson died at the scene. Robinson was a passenger in a 1989 Toyota pickup driven by 63-year-old Christine Robinson, both of Cold Springs. She was flown to a Modesto hospital suffering major injuries.

The CHP reports 66-year-old- Cary Lee from Tuolumne driving a 2003 GMC Yukon was eastbound on the highway when for unknown reasons he turned directly in front of the pickup and the vehicles collided.

Lee sustained minor injuries. Officers directed traffic for about an hour as the westbound lane of the highway was blocked. The CHP reports drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the crash.
