Sonora, CA – The Mother Lode Fair is underway at the fairgrounds in Sonora off Stockton Road.
The event offers carnival rides, grandstand shows and plenty of livestock competitions along with an auction. Parking can be difficult. To alleviate the problem, the Tuolumne County Transit is offering a shuttle service. It will operate between the Junction Shopping Center and the Fairgrounds from noon until 11 p.m. Saturday and noon until 9 p.m. on Sunday. Riders will be picked up in front of TJ Maxx at the top of each hour and leave the Fairgrounds to return to the Junction at the bottom of each hour.
