Sonora, CA — This weekend’s Mother Lode Views will focus on the upcoming summer fire season.
Guests will include CAL Fire Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit Chief Josh White and Division Chief Adam Frese. The two will give a preview of the season and talk about current conditions. They will give an update on available resources, the drought, impact of the bark beetle infestations, fire prevention projects and the need for defensible space.
They will also voice concerns about the high number of escaped debris burns that have been witnessed over recent weeks.

Mother Lode Views airs Saturday and Sunday morning at 9:30 on AM 1450 and FM 102.7 KVML. Mother Lode Views can also be heard Sunday morning at 10 o’clock on 93.5 KKBN and at 9 a.m. on STAR 92.7.
