Update: Mono Way Crash Cleared

Update at 5:45 p.m.: Sonora Police report tow crews have removed the wreckage after a two vehicle crash at the busy Mono Way and Greenley Road intersection blocked the westbound lane. Officers directed one-way traffic for about an hour.

Original post at 5:15 p.m.: Sonora, CA — A two vehicle wreck is causing some traffic delays during the evening commute in Sonora.

The wreckage is blocking the westbound lane of Mono Way at the Greenley Road intersection. Officers are directing one-way traffic control. Traffic is backed up in all directions so police are asking motorists to avoid the area if possible. Tow crews are working to clear the debris. Sonora Police report no injuries in the crash.
