Sheep Ranch, CA — A Sheep Ranch motorist missed her driveway an not only went plummeting down and embankment, but to jail for DUI.
The wreck happened on Sheep Ranch Road north of Gold Mountain Road in Sheep Ranch just after midnight on Monday. The CHP reports 30-year-old Barbara Travieso, was driving a 2008 Toyota southbound on Sheep Ranch Road when she passed her home’s driveway. CHP spokesperson Rebecca Myers states, “Travieso attempted to turn around but instead went off the roadway down an embankment. The vehicle hit a tree, flipped over and landed with its four-wheels in the air. Officers determined she was under the influence of alcohol.”
Travieso was arrested at the scene but due to her major injuries sustained in the crash was taken to Doctor’s Medical Center in Modesto.
