Tap Troubles Possible In Sonora

Sonora, CA – The Tuolumne Utilities District crews will continue meter installation work in downtown Sonora, which might disrupt service next week.

The work involves upgrading service laterals and installing new remote read water meters beginning Monday, March 21 through Friday, March 25 to homes on Shepherd Street and Sonora Avenue from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., weather permitting.

Households could experience a small delay in water service while the crews switch over to the new meters, one house at a time.

TUD officials also caution motorists in the area to drive with caution as there will be plenty of workers and equipment in the afore mentioned areas.
