What Is HealthLitNow?

Sonora, CA — An organization that launched from Tuolumne County’s InnovationLab is working towards improving healthcare literacy, and in turn helping the local economy.

HealthLitNow, a community based health literacy program, was created in 2014. Around 850 local students have taken part in the HealthLitNow Mini Med School over the past year. On this weekend’s Mother Lode Views, you can hear in detail about what HealthLitNow is, its goals, and how it all ties into economic growth. The guests will be HealthLitNow President Barry Hillman and Vice President Dr. Todd Stolp.
