Copperopolis Woman Injured In Crash

Copperopolis, CA — A Copperopolis woman was transported by ambulance to Mark Twain Medical Center following a crash over the weekend.

The CHP reports that 27-year-old Jessica Pilson was driving a 1997 Toyota Camry on Highway 4 east of O’byrnes Ferry Road. For unknown reasons, the CHP says her vehicle traveled across both traffic lanes and into a road side embankment. The force of the crash caused the airbags to deploy, causing minor to moderate injuries. The CHP says alcohol and drugs were not considered a factor in the crash. A six-month old male passenger, also in the vehicle, was not injured. The crash occurred at 4:15pm.
