Update at 12:05pm: Bureau of Reclamation officials report that the prescribed burn at the Glory Hole Recreation Area will continue throughout today and into tomorrow. 100 acres will be burned. CAL Fire is assisting. There are no road closures resulting from the prescribed burn. Smoke will continue to be visible.
Original story posted at 11:52am: Angels Camp, CA — There is a plume of smoke visible near New Melones Reservoir.
Clarke Broadcasting has learned that the Bureau of Reclamation has ignited a prescribed burn for noxious weed abatement near Glory Hill Recreation Area. Burning will be taking place throughout today and smoke will continue to be visible.
