Calaveras Woman Hurt In OHV Crash

Valley Springs, CA — A Burson woman was air-lifted to a hospital in Modesto following an off highway vehicle accident on Highway 12.

The CHP says 45-year-old Kimberly Laatsch was driving the quad on Meagan Lane, and attempted to make a u-turn at the Highway 12 intersection. The quad rolled over and she became pinned underneath. She was flown to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto to treat “moderate injuries.” Laatsch was also charged with being under the influence of alcohol. The crash occurred on Sunday at around 4:15pm.

The CHP adds that Laatsch was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident and she was initially unconscious following the crash.
