Update: Power Outage In Tuolumne County

Update at 7:45 p.m.: PG&E reports the power outage impacting nearly 270 customers in Long Barn is due to a damaged power pole. The company reports crews are working repair the problem with the estimated restoration time pushed back to 11 p.m.

Original Post at 6:16: Long Barn, CA — PG&E crews are investigating a power outage in the Long Barn area.  Nearly 270 customers are without lights along Highway 108 and Long Barn Road from N. Fork Road up to Bald Mountain Heliport Road.  The electricity went out around 3:34 p.m. Friday.  Crews have not yet identified the cause of the outage.  The company notes the estimated time of repairs is 7:30 p.m. We will bring you more details as soon as they come into the newsroom.
