Update: Sierra Nevada Winter Storm Watch Issued

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the Sierra Nevada, from late tonight through Wednesday night.

Total snow accumulations will range from half a foot to a foot-and-a-half above 5,500 feet.

Travel delays with chain requirements are possible.

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant snow accumulations that may impact travel.
