Caltrans Work Plans Week Of Dec. 21

Stockton, CA — Facing a short work week due to the pending holidays Caltrans crews in the Mother Lode largely plan to concentrate along Highways 12 and 26.

Monday through Wednesday, the largest delays will likely take place on Highway 26 between Happy Valley and Lower Dorray roads from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. where motorists who do not seek alternate routes might be set back 15 minutes in the cone zone as crews attend to tree work and other miscellaneous chores.

The round-the-clock construction improvements in Valley Springs continue along the shoulder between Pine Street and Cosgrove Creek and on Highway 26 between Nove Way and Highway 12 but will take a pause from Wednesday evening through Sunday, due to the holidays. Caltrans does not anticipate that the work will create any travel impacts. However, motorists should expect ten-minute delays during highway construction Monday through Wednesday between Nove Way and Double Springs Road from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

More construction Monday through Wednesday on Highway 12 between Pine Street and Lime Creek Road from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. may also bring ten-minute delays.
