Update: Structure Fire A False Alarm

Update at  6:15 p.m.: Cal Fire dispatch reports no structure was on fire. Instead they say the spotted flames were from a debris burn pile.

Original Post at 5:36 p.m.: Columbia, CA — Firefighter are headed to a structure fire east of Columbia.

Cal Fire says a caller reported possible flames coming from a trailer that may have spread to nearby items and vegetation. Dispatch says the fire is located in the Gunsight and Upper Quail Mine roads area, but there is no exact address at this time. We will bring you more information as soon as it comes into the newsroom.
