Twain Harte, CA — There is a fully involved residential structure fire in the 28600 block of Italian Bar Road. Resources are arriving on scene. Be prepared for activity in the area. No injuries have been reported at this time. No further information is immediately available.
Also of note, the rainfall is causing a headache for many motorists in Calaveras County on Highway 26 near the Highway 49 intersection. The CHP reports that there is roadway flooding on Highway 26 impacting both traffic lanes. The area impacted is five miles east of Mokelumne Hill. Some of the roadway shoulders are starting to erode. Caltrans has been notified of the situation, so travel with caution.
