Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will hear an update on the county’s implementation of the AB 109 prisoner realignment program.
It’s on the agenda for today’s meeting that starts at 9am in downtown Sonora. The county will also discuss potential rate increases for the CAL Sierra Transfer Station, Pinecrest Transfer Station and Big Oak Flat Transfer Station.
The Supervisors will decide whether to weigh in and send letters to state agencies on a couple of matters. County meeting documents indicate that they include the State Department of Fish and Wildlife in relation to an appropriate legal remedy for feeding wild animals and to the Department of Water Resources related to the Bay Delta Conservation Plan.
The Board will also break into closed session to talk about the Jamestown Mine property.
