Caltrans Plans Week Of Oct. 12

Stockton, CA — Caltrans will be busy along five Mother Lode highways next week, and in a couple of targeted areas, will be setting up on Sunday evening.

On Highway 12, nearly round-the-clock contruction between Pine Street and Cosgrove Creek continues, along with related work on Highway 26 between Nove Way and Highway 12. Neither should generate any traffic delays.

Slope repair and utility work on Highway 26 between Happy Valley and Lower Dorray roads also continues each weekday from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. with possible 15-minute delays to motorists during those times. Tree work in the same area starts up Sunday and will additionally be in place each weekday from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m., so the area will be a hot spot for motorists.

In Tuolumne County, along Highway 49/108 more overnight paving work near Jamestown between Highway 120/Chinese Camp and Chicken Ranch Road may generate ten-minute delays from Sunday night at 7 p.m. through 6 a.m. Friday.

Along Highway 108 each weekday, drainage cleaning operations is scheduled to set up each weekday between Sandhouse/Pinecrest Dump Road and Herring Creek Lane from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and may bring brief delays for motorists.

On Highway 120, each weekday, slope repair and cleaning operations between Pine Tree Point and Ferndale Road from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. may set motorists back ten minutes.
