Heavy Smoke Near SRMC

Sonora, CA — Smoke is visible near Sonora Regional Medical Center this morning.

CAL Fire reports that that a piece of faulty equipment, a boiler, is putting off the smoke. No fire was located by the Sonora Fire Department when it arrived on scene.  Three fire engines are currently assigned to the incident.  Expect some activity in the area.
