Sonora, CA — Firefighters are on the scene of a vegetation fire near the Mother Lode Fairgrounds.
Cal Fire Dispatch reports the flames broke out in some grass on Southgate Drive near Stockton Road. The latter was just reopened after being closed for about 5 to 10 minutes as firefighters extinguished the blaze. Cal Fire reports the fire was contained at a 100 sq. ft. spot and the cause is under investigations.
