SPD Seeking Info About Wright’s Tire Fire

Sonora, CA — No arrests have been made in relation to this past weekend’s fire at Wright’s Tire in Sonora. As reported previously, the fire did an estimated $15,000 worth of damage, notably destroying a side structure next to the main building that housed old tires.

Police Chief Mark Stinson says there is very little new information as of this morning. He adds, “At this point, one of our fire investigators has been assigned to the investigation. The fire has been determined to be human caused. Anyone with information about the fire is asked to contact the Sonora Police Department at 532-8141.”

Chief Stinson notes that there are no suspects.  The fire ignited around the 10 o’clock hour on Saturday evening.
