Mother Lode Resident Gets State Ag Appointment

Sonora, CA — Governor Jerry Brown tapped a Sonora man to join a state agricultural association.

On Tuesday, Brown announced he selected Bryan Adcox, 43, of Sonora, to be a member of the 29th District Agricultural Association, Mother Lode Fair Board of Directors. Adcox has been a branch manager for Wells Fargo Bank since 2004. He was a store manager for Staples Inc. from 1997 to 2004.

Adcox is president of the Sonora Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. No Senate confirmation is required for the position, for which there is no compensation. Adcox is a registered Republican.
