Jamestown Resident Hurt In Crash

Sonora, CA — There was a head-on collision that slowed traffic on Mono Way yesterday morning.

The Sonora PD reports that 90-year-old Jean Richardson of Jamestown was driving westbound in a 2000 Ford Focus and she suffered some type of medical issue. The vehicle swerved to the left and hit an eastbound Ford Ranger driven by 51-year-old Tammy Roe of Sonora. Richardson was injured, and was initially transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center. She was later flown to a hospital in Modesto, where she is listed in stable condition. The crash occurred at around 10am.
