Updated: Law Enforcement Activity In Tuolumne

Updated at 5:50pm: A man that barricaded himself inside a Tuolumne home has now surrendered. The Sheriff’s Office reports that the unidentified man was taken to Tuolumne County Jail. There were no injuries to the suspect or law enforcement. No further details are immediately available via the Sheriff’s Office. We’ll pass along more information when it becomes available.

Original story posted at 4:30pm: Tuolumne, CA — Several law enforcement officials are outside a home in Tuolumne, as a man has barricaded himself inside and refuses to come out.

Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Sgt. Scott Johnson says it is related to a earlier disturbance, but no other information is immediately available. The home is along Rozier Avenue. Expect activity in the area. There are no road closures at this time.
