Olsen Bills Pass State Assembly

Sacramento, CA — Former Mother Lode Assembly Member and current Republican Leader of the California State Assembly, Kirstin Olsen, announced today that most of her bills from her 2015 legislative package have successfully passed the Assembly and now move onto the Senate. Olsen details her bills in a new myMotherLode blog here.

Olsen says “My bills are focused on presenting solutions to very real problems,” She continued,  “I will continue to work with my colleagues in the Senate and with the Governor to ensure that these proposals become law and help improve the quality of life in California.”

Assemblymember Olsen’s bills are related to transportation including legislation to benefit a company that creates motorized skateboards in Riverbank. Four of her bills relate to education and government reliability and transparency. Lastly a water related bill addresses the use of groundwater.
