A fire that ignited this afternoon near the area of Eastman Road and 28 Mile Road was contained at 24 acres. No structures were damaged and the cause is under investigation.
Air resources from Columbia were also briefly dispatched to a reported fire during the five o’clock hour this evening near the community of Bootjack in Mariposa County.
1:40pm: Oakdale, CA — CAL Fire air resources from Columbia are helping to battle a roughly three acre vegetation fire near Oakdale.
It is near the area of Eastman Road and 28 Mile Road. No homes or buildings are currently considered in danger. Expect activity in the area.
