Belleview Close To Finding Pendley’s Replacement

Tuolumne County, CA — Belleview School District could name a new Superintendent/Principal later this week.

For the past several years Belleview has shared Dr. John Pendley with the Columbia Elementary School District. Following word that Dr. Pendley will be retiring at the end of the school year, Columbia Elementary decided to create a joint Superintendent/Principal position. Belleview Elementary has now decided to follow the same course.

As reported previously, Columbia Elementary appointed Craig Bowden from the Fresno area to its position.

The Belleview School District Board of Trustees will break into closed session on Thursday evening to discuss the top finalists, the job description, and the salary schedule. After the closed session, the board will re-open the meeting to the public and potentially vote on approving a Superintendent/Principal. Thursday’s meeting starts at 6pm in the Belleview School Library.
