Twain Harte To Vote On New Water Restrictions

Twain Harte, CA — The Twain Harte Community Services District is planning to step up its water conservation measures. A special meeting has been called for Friday to decide whether to transition from the current voluntary 20% reduction to a mandatory 30% reduction. The Board of Directors will also hear an update on the current water supply forecast.

General Manager Tom Trott says stage three conservation measures limit outdoor irrigation to twice a week, and all identified water leaks must be fixed within seven days. Assuming the stage three restrictions are implemented, the board will later take time to discuss the enforcement, and alternate means of ensuring that conservation measures are met.

The special meeting will begin at 9am in the district office at 22933 Twain Harte Drive.
