Monn Receives Prison Sentence

Merced, CA — A man from Merced, who taught agriculture at Don Pedro High School in Tuolumne County, has received a four year prison sentence for having an unlawful relationship with a 15 year old female.

31-year-old Jeremy Ryan Monn pled guilty earlier this year to unlawful intercourse with a minor, among other charges. The crimes occurred at Monn’s residence in Merced in 2013, while he was employed at Don Pedro High. The sentence was handed down Friday in Merced County. Monn also faces similar charges out of San Luis Obisbo County, with a different victim, so he could eventually face more time than just the four-year sentence.
