South Tuolumne County Drought Forum

Groveland, CA — South Tuolumne County residents will get an update on the drought this evening.

Different areas of Tuolumne County have their own issues and challenges, so forums are being held over the coming weeks in each of the Supervisorial districts. Tonight’s forum starts at 6:30pm in the Groveland Community Hall. Representatives will be on hand from the Groveland Community Services District, Tuolumne County OES, District Four Supervisor John Gray, CAL Fire, and others.

The Groveland Community Hall is located at 18990 Highway 120. Drought forums are also scheduled for April 20 at Jamestown Elementary, April 21 at Tuolumne Memorial Hall and April 29 in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Sonora. All forums are open to the public and start at 6:30pm.

Governor Jerry Brown is mandating that California residents reduce water usage by 25%, compared to 2013 levels.
