Groveland Structure Fire A ‘Total Loss’

Groveland, CA – A fire in an abandoned house off 2nd Garrotte Road Saturday evening took three hours to subdue, according to Cal Fire, which battled the blaze along with responding units from Groveland and Tuolumne County fire districts.

The incident began sometime in the 9 o’clock hour, according to the Cal Fire Groveland office, which also confirmed that no injuries resulted from the incident. Officials say that the cause of fire is undetermined and deemed the property a “total loss.”
