New Tuolumne County Patroller

Jamestown, CA – A new officer has taken to the roadways of Tuolumne County to protect and serve.

Sgt. Shawn Snyder has 25 years of experience working for the CHP.  He comes from Oceanside California.  For the past 12 years, he worked in the Rainbow Inspection facility dealing with commercial vehicles, which is training that Snyder can pass onto to other officers.

“He has knowledge of the trucking industry,” says Jamestown CHP unit Spokesperson Nick Norton.  “He knows the requirements for hours of service, log books, mechanical type violations related to big rigs and those things.”

Snyder’s first day on the jobs was Friday.
