Interfaith Cash Drive Warms Hearts

Sonora, CA — Interfaith will receive more than $13,834 in cash raised in the 5th annual Clarke Broadcasting Interfaith Cash and Coat Drive! The final total will come next week!

The Coat Drive starts at 9am tomorrow at Standard Park.

Dozens of local businesses and residents have donated cash and coats over the past two days. According to Interfaith Social Services Director, Cathy Peacock, each dollar donated will be leveraged to buy seven dollars of food and clothing. Interfaith is open all year and annually serves more than 36,000 people through food, clothing and other services.

This year’s individual donations ranged from the precious gift of a bag of change to several generous amounts of one thousand dollars and more. In four years, more than $118,000 dollars has been donated along with more than 5,500 coats.

The Clarke Broadcasting Interfaith Cash and Coat Drive concludes tomorrow. However, donations are accepted all year Monday through Friday 10am-1pm at the Interfaith location at 18500 Striker Court off Tuolumne Road in Sonora.
