Gas Prices Hit Four Year Low

Sonora, CA — Traveling this Thanksgiving will be a little bit lighter on the wallet than the past few years.

The national Lundberg Survey of fuel prices shows the average price, nationwide, for a gallon of regular unleaded is $2.84. The average price has fallen 10 cents over the past two weeks, and is 41 cents below this time last year. It also marks the lowest average price in four years. There has been a recent decline in crude oil prices, attributed to an increase in supply, and stronger dollar.

The myMotherLode.com gas price section shows that regular unleaded is selling in Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties between $2.89 and $3.19.
