Yosemite, CA — Yosemite officials hoped to have Tioga Pass open by noon today, but it now looks like it could stay closed for much of this week.
“Because there is still 2-3 inches of snow present on the road, we are not able to open it today,” says Ashley Mayer, Yosemite Spokesperson. “We are anticipating another storm coming through on Wednesday, so it could be later this week before Tioga Road is able to be re-opened.”
Highway 108 Sonora Pass and Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass are back open following last week’s high country snow.
