New GM On CCWD Agenda

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Water District is expected to hire a new General Manager at a meeting on Wednesday.

“The board has offered a contract to a GM candidate,” says Joel Metzger, CCWD Community and Customer Relations Manager. “That candidate has accepted the offer. However, before that becomes official, the board needs to take a vote.”

The district has not announced the name of the candidate at this point. The CCWD board meeting will start at 9am at the District Office in San Andreas.

Former CCWD GM Mitchell Dion’s contract was terminated following a closed session meeting this past May. Larry Diamond has been serving as Interim General Manager.
