Sonora, CA — The CHP has put out an alert regarding an armed and dangerous man in the area. The man is driving a white Honda Civic with a Nevada license plate of 811LMV and may be armed with a gun. Officer Nick Norton says the man is coming from Topaz Lake, Nevada via the Highway 108 corridor heading to Stockton. He was last sighted in the Kennedy Meadows area.
“He is wanted for a felony warrant out of Nevada,” says Officer Nick Norton. “If anyone sees the vehicle, do not contact him or try to stop him. Please call 911 and give a good location of where he might be, like a mile marker.”
Norton says the man has a felony warrant out of Nevada , but he did not have more details on the warrant. The CHP is out in full force looking for the vehicle at this time.
Update:1:35 pm: The CHP reports there has been no sightings of the car, but officers continue to patrol the Highway 108 corridor in search of the car.
