Ladies Night Out Successful

Sonora, CA — Sonora Regional Medical Center’s second annual Ladies Night Out attracted many attendees this year. Lindsay Brewer, Marketing Coordinator for SRMC, says “Last night was a huge success. We had right around 500 people and we grew significantly from the first year. We are already looking to plan our third annual Ladies Night Out for 2015.”

October is National Breast Health Awareness Month and Ladies Night Out is to help spread the message of breast health to the community. Staff from the Center for Breast Health offered education about breast cancer prevention and early detection.

The raffle prize of a basket with pink items worth $400, as well as tickets to the 2015 Joie de Vie Gala, went to Laurie Corson. The Pine Tree Peddlers won the window decorating contest. Attendees also participated in the memorial candle lighting, celebration wall, complimentary manicures from the Sonora High School Cosmetology Program, and made donations to Locks of Love.
