50 Acre Fire in Forest

Mariposa County, CA — Columbia air resources have been called off the Meadow Fire in Yosemite National Park and are heading to the Stanislaus National Forest.  Forest Officials report a 50 acre fire is burning in the Texas Hill area near Ponderosa Way, which is east of Coulterville in Mariposa County.  There is no word on rate of spread or whether any structures are threatened at this time.  We will bring you more information as soon as it is available.
