Covey Circle Grass Fire

Sonora, CA — There is a 1-2 acre vegetation fire burning in the area of Covey Circle and Cabezut Road in Sonora.

CAL Fire reports that there are some structures in the area threatened, but none have been damaged at this time. CAL Fire reports that firefighters are starting to get a line around the blaze, but it is not yet considered contained. Air and ground resources are on scene assisting. Avoid the area if possible.
