Mariposa County, CA — Firefighters and Columbia Air Attack are heading to a vegetation fire south of Lake Don Pedro in Mariposa County. The flames broke out on Rachito Drive near Paraiso Boulevard. There is no word on size, rate of spread or whether any structures are threatened at this time. We will bring you more information as soon as it is available.

Update 5 pm: Cal fire reports the forward progress has been stopped at a one acre. Cal fire reports a solo vehicle crash sparked the blaze. There are no further details on the accident at this time.
