Tuolumne County Business Council Applauds Innovation Lab

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Business Council applauds the InnovationLab and Maker Space. Dave Carlberg, Co-Founder of Kinematic Automation and Tuolumne County Business Council member shares his thoughts in a blog posted here. Carlberg says, “It is my sincere and honest belief that Tuolumne County’s InnovationLab and Maker Space is one of the most important ideas to take shape in this area in the last decade – probably longer.”

Carlberg shares his hope that the Lab can attract startup companies and help the local economy.  He outlines seven things Tuolumne County residents can do to support the Lab in his blog here. He says, “It would be so fantastic if Tuolumne County was a place that fostered innovation; that encouraged (organized, planned) growth; that provided opportunities and a reason for our kids and grandkids to stick around after high school. A place that had good, decent paying jobs upon which a growing family could survive.”

The Tuolumne County Business Council will be supporting the InnovationLab by providing sponsorships of deserving individuals. The lab is in the process of obtaining a membership services coordinator and that individual will facilitate our support. Contact TCBC president Darrell Slocum with any questions at: 209 770-5777
