Road work was scheduled to start this morning in several areas in the Mother Lode. On Highway 108 Caltrans will be paving and performing one-way traffic control in the vicinity of the East Avenue over-crossing (the East entrance to Twain Harte Drive that goes under Highway 108) up the hill to Stoddard Springs Road beginning today through Friday, August 15, from 7:00am until 5:00pm.
Crews will also perform one-way traffic control on Highway 108 from Lassen Drive in Long Barn to Sonora Pass (past elevation 9,624) for drainage work beginning today through Thursday, August 14, from 8:00am until 4:00pm.
In the Groveland area, on Highway 120, Caltrans will perform one-way traffic control from White Gulch Road to Elmore Road due to paving. Work is scheduled to begin today and continue through Friday from 6:00am until 1:00pm.
Caltrans says motorists should expect 15 minute delays for each paving project area.
