Sonora, CA — Gas prices have been declining in California.
The latest Lundberg Survey shows that the price of a gallon of regular unleaded fell by an average of nine cents over the past two weeks. The state’s average price is $3.86. San Francisco has the highest average price in the state at $3.95, and Bakersfield is the lowest at $3.76. The myMotherLode.com gas price section shows that regular unleaded is selling in the area from $3.75 to $4.09.
The price decline is attributed to improving supply, and the summer travel season starting to wind down.
