Highway 108 Traffic Delays

Sonora, CA — If you are planning to head up over Sonora Pass next week, be prepared for some road construction.

Caltrans reports that Highway 108 will be repaved from the East Avenue Undercrossing to Stoddard Springs Road. Work will run this coming Monday, through Friday, 7am until 5pm. At least 15-minute traffic delays can be expected. The construction schedule will avoid the weekend, which is when the majority of visitors are traveling Sonora Pass.

Also, if you are planning to travel on Highway 12 in Calaveras County, next week, be prepared for at least 20-minute delays. Caltrans reports that crews will be striping the Highway from the Whelisma Railroad Crossing in Calaveras County to the Highway 88 intersection in San Joaquin County. The work hours will be 5am-6pm, Monday through Friday.
